Position Purpose:
To assist construction superintendent to increase volume and maintain quality within the given geographical area
Job Responsibilities:
- Shall take direction from the designated Construction Manager for all phases in new home construction.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of new home construction.
- Assist in oversight of people, materials, budgets and schedules.
- Able to assist in the construction of homes in various locations.
- Understand plans, construction methods, and regulations.
- Help to schedule and manage subcontractors to deliver homes on time and budget.
- Ensure highest quality of construction and customer service.
- Maintain schedule on new homes from drywall through closing.
- Assist superintendents in the daily operations of the subdivision.
- Ensure safety standards and requirements are implemented and followed.
Job Requirements
(Including Education)
:
- High school / GED.
- 1-year construction related experience.
- Able to read blue prints, and technical manuals.
- KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
- Delivery of homes under budget
- Meeting delivery timelines
- Passing independent quality control inspections
