Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing support to the purchasing and construction departments as well as general office needs and will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- This position is 100% in the office.
- Maintain vendor packets and qualifications.
- Requests for pricing, load price changes
- Revising/updating features lists
- Updating projects vendor lists
- Keeping all plans updated
- New project product binders
- Coordinate all paperwork for vendors
- Process purchase orders, change orders and notices to proceed
- Research invoice or purchase order issues as needed
- Answer incoming calls and direct where appropriate.
- Make all company purchases with approval from management.
- Conduct an office supply inventory monthly and order as needed.
Job Requirements (Including Education):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Construction purchasing experience required
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Quick and sound decision-making abilities with exceptional follow-through
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Highly motivated and flexible personality that embraces a proactive and fast-paced environment
