About the Role>>> Legal Intern
As a Legal Intern, reporting to the Senior Director of Legal Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience in the biotech industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative women’s oncology company with significant potential to transform breast cancer treatments. This position’s main focus will be on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (taking into account data privacy regulations), with a secondary focus on general corporate activities.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the life sciences industry, hands-on learning, teamwork, have exceptional analytical and communication skills, and are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This position is an 8-week paid summer internship.
The base pay is
$22/hour
and you will be working 40 hours a week, 5 days per week onsite at our
Cambridge, MA
office. Your work will primarily encompass:
- Contract Administration- including working with our Contract Management System, drafting Confidentiality Agreements (with supervision), and assisting in compiling a data privacy clause book
- Researching issues in corporate law, as needed, including employment law matters
- Assisting in corporate governance matters, including certain SEC filings and disclosures
