JOB SUMMARY
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, with a dotted line to the Accounting Manager, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of the Accounting Organization, building and refining our accounting processes, with an initial focus on improving the accounts payable function and set up the organization for long term success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Aid in improving and shortening the current AP cycle (procure to pay) i.e., posting invoices, completing journal entries and ensuring payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Proactively engage with vendors and resolve queries on time and efficiently. Ensure that the AP inbox is up to date.
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders within the organization to identify improvement opportunities and lead change management initiatives.
- Develop, update and maintain comprehensive documentation of policies and procedures, support process improvements and training during automation rollouts.
- Review and verify employee expense reports in Expensify and manage employee reimbursements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in preferably in an account payable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks etc.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Local, on site (hybrid okay with minimum 3 days in the office)
