Position Summary:
BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC is looking for experienced technical individuals for our Systems Administrator position! As a part of the BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC team, you will be accountable for understanding client needs and supporting their IT solutions to meet their needs as well as follow best practices for solution implementation, documentation and communication. As a Systems Administrator, you will provide consultation to customers on integrating and supporting industry leading technologies into their infrastructure to solve business problems.
The Systems Administrator is accountable for developing knowledge of BlueAlly Technology Solutions, LLC products, procedures and technologies. A successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic in dealing with customers and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Director of Support Operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor support tickets, perform patching, and handle remediation activities for customer systems.
- Perform the initial setup and configuration of monitoring tools, including creating dashboards, alerts, notifications, and escalation rules tailored to customer needs.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing analysis and resolution of technical issues, with escalation as necessary.
- Work directly with clients to support managed systems and solutions, ensuring they meet specific customer requirements.
- Assist in the daily administration of service contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop, document, and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backups, restores, performance tuning, and configuration.
- Perform and manage backups of production systems to ensure business continuity for customer operations.

- Provide consultation and support through written, verbal, and face-to-face interactions, addressing the unique challenges of the customer’s environment.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for all work completed, ensuring clarity and accessibility for customer IT teams.
- Perform additional customer-specific tasks and duties as required, adapting to operational needs.
- Participate in other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned to ensure overall system efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with setting up, managing, and troubleshooting hospitality management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) or Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
- Experience with implementing, configuring, and supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems used in retail and hospitality environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on treating others with respect and empathy, critical for maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail, crucial for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Solid understanding of basic L2/L3 network topology and troubleshooting, with experience using network management tools, test equipment, and diagnostic capabilities of firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ability to respond to, identify, isolate, and resolve significant problem events, especially in a live customer environment.
- At least 1 year of functional experience working in a Windows-based server environment, with additional experience in deployment and management.
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, with experience in deploying these in customer environments being a plus.
- Experience with Citrix deployments and management, particularly in environments requiring remote access solutions.
- Familiarity with Fortinet solutions, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot these in a customer environment being highly desirable.
- Willingness to expand technical skills beyond core networking, with a particular focus on systems used in hospitality and retail sectors.
- An Associate’s degree in Information Technology or 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the technology field.
