We’re seeking ambitious problem solvers from a diverse range of backgrounds, who are desired for their experience, passionate about their craft, and excited about the work we’re undertaking.This dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager role is perfect for someone with experience in overseeing end-to-end finance operations and business partnering across with different stakeholders across the business.

The ideal candidate thrives on managing the details while also contributing to strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead key financial processes and collaborate closely with non-finance stakeholders across the business on an ad-hoc basis.

What you'll do:


  • Accounts Payable oversight. Lead the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including reviewing and approving the fortnightly payment run to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Treasury operations. Manage cash flow and banking activities across multiple platforms, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Accounts Receivable management. Oversee the AR function, including reviewing weekly reports and draft invoices prepared by the AR specialist. Provide strategic guidance on collections and assist with customer queries escalated by the team.
  • Employee reimbursements. Process and oversee weekly employee reimbursements in accordance with company policy via Airwallex.
  • Revenue recognition. Ensure accurate recognition of SaaS revenue in compliance with IFRS 15 standards.
  • Month-end and Quarter-end close. Own the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, cash close reporting, and preparation of investor reporting packs.
  • Audit and compliance. Lead financial compliance activities, including external audits and statutory reporting. Oversee tax obligations such as PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, indirect taxes, and annual tax returns.
  • Payroll oversight. Support the Senior Accountant in managing payroll processes for Australia and the US, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Business partnering. Work closely with stakeholders to monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and support cost control initiatives.
  • Team management. Manage and mentor a dedicated offshore team of three direct reports based in the Philippines, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.

What you'll bring:


  • CPA qualification (or equivalent). A professional accounting qualification is required to ensure technical proficiency and compliance with financial standards.
  • Systems proficiency. Strong working knowledge of ERP and payment systems such as Xero, Stripe (or similar), Airwallex (or similar), and ZIP (or similar).
  • Payroll & compliance experience. Hands-on experience with Australian payroll and tax compliance; exposure to U.S. payroll is a strong advantage.
  • SaaS & Quote-to-Cash expertise. Prior experience in a SaaS environment with familiarity across the quote-to-cash cycle is highly desirable.
  • Remote team management. Experience leading and managing distributed or offshore teams is a plus.
  • Startup experience. Background in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments, with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
