Responsibilities:


  • Work with project leads to drive software and digital projects to completion. Includes but not limited to software products, mobile applications, and web applications.
  • Develop, document, and maintain project plans.
  • Determine resource needs and work with functional managers and FP&A on resource planning.
  • Organize project team meetings, set meeting agendas, issue minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Facilitate scrum events, including but not limited to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and stakeholder demos.
  • Manage the completion of design control documentation as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks and opportunities to timeline, budget, and scope.
  • Track project performance against baseline and SMART metrics.
  • Facilitate and lead design reviews and phase gate reviews.
  • Produce and present clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
  • Foster strong cross-functional communication and decision-making across internal teams and external partners, including vendors and offshore development teams.
  • Provide regular updates as appropriate and ensure alignment on timeline, budget, and scope across the core team, stakeholders, and executive leadership team.

Qualifications:


  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in managing software development projects in life sciences or related field.
  • Experience with mobile and web applications.
  • Experience with managing IT projects a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Includes story splitting, sprint velocity tracking, and backlog refinement within Agile.
  • Certified Scrum Master, Agile certification, or PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, CLIA, ISO 13485, CE/IVDR); global experience a plus.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project) and creating Gantt charts and project dashboards.
  • Comfortable interacting with leaders at all levels and influencing without authority.
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills; negotiation skills a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to details.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Able to manage multiple complex, cross functional projects concurrently.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
