Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Review incoming RFQ’s containing customer requirements, blueprints, CAD files and inspection requirements
- Review with key players to determine feasibility as needed
- Develop costing for the proposed job/project, creating a quote for the customer that considers all machine processes, materials, and outside services.
- Review scheduling demands and ensure proper lead times are given.
- Participate in continuous improvement meetings, staying current in technology and market demands assisting the company in becoming as competitive as possible.
- Review all variances between estimated costs and actual costs to evaluate the accuracy of the quote.
- Suggest improvements in processes as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in precision machining and cost and estimating
- Knowledge of various materials and different CNC machines and support processes
- Strong knowledge of CAD, GD&T and Blueprint reading
- Strong Computer skills: MS Office, Word, Excel Teams,estimating software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills
