Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000*The referenced pay range is based on Pixelligent's good faith belief at the time of posting. Final Salary and compensation will vary based on factors such as work experience, market and business conditions, education, degree level, training and skill level with consideration for internal equity.
Summary:
The QC Technician will perform sample preparation, run quality tests, and record/track results to monitor the quality of Pixelligent’s raw materials, in process checks, and final products. The analytical technician will also perform general support duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned*· Run analytical equipment such as GC, UV-Vis, TGA, DLS, FTIR, HPLC, XRD, Colorimeter, Prism Coupler, and Ellipsometer.· Perform necessary chemical work, such as dilutions.· Use analytical balance and micropipettes to prepare samples for analysis.· Process and organize data into a viewable format. · Input data into computer databases.· Perform calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in written procedures.· Maintain records on equipment performance; work with supervisor to proactively address any maintenance issues. · Meet laboratory safety, sample labeling, and housekeeping requirements. · Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and other applicable requirements.· Identify product defects, defect trends, and deviations from specifications.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities now but may offer growth opportunities for leadership roles in the future.Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED with at least 1-3 years of experience in laboratory setting, R&D, or manufacturing industry (required)2. BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or other relevant technical degree (preferred)3. Demonstrated effective attention to detail and successful performance in a cross-collaborative environment (required) 4. Proficient following and adhering to SOPs (required)5. Proficient with Mathematics up to Algebra (required)6.
