Job Description:
BioUrja Group is looking for a talented and motivated college student to join us onsite for 8 weeks in Summer 2025 at BioUrja’s global headquarters location in Houston, TX. We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing Intern with a strong foundation in graphic design and brand strategy to help define and launch the Exports team’s brand identity. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of a branding initiative from concept through launch and gain hands-on experience in a high-impact, international business setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Exports Team to understand strategic goals and target markets
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform branding decisions
- Develop brand identity assets including logo, color palette, typography, and visual guidelines
- Create marketing collateral such as brochures, digital ads, presentations, and social media assets
- Assist in writing and editing copy for brand messaging, taglines, and positioning
- Build and implement a brand launch plan (internal and external rollout)
- Support internal communication and training materials for brand adoption
- Present branding concepts and progress updates to leadership for feedback and approval
Qualifications:
- Entering Junior or Senior in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar tools)
- Knowledge of branding principles and visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and consistency
- Experience creating or managing a brand identity project (academic or personal projects welcome)
- Understanding of B2B marketing or export/trade industry is a plus
- Familiarity with website builders, email platforms, or social media scheduling tools is a bonus
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Must be able to work in-person at Houston, TX 77042 headquarters
Duration and Compensation:
- 8 week commitment, 40 hours per week full time
- Compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
