We are seeking a Global Payroll Manager!
About The Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced professional to fill this remote role. As the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for managing the Vendor Management process and procedure, for new and existing vendors.This will include managing the due diligence and approval processes for new vendors. You will also assist with contractual negotiation and act as a liaison between vendors, our legal department, and other internal stakeholders.This role is responsible for managing the entire vendor lifecycle from requirements gathering and sourcing through contract execution, performance monitoring, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the Vendor Management process and procedure for new and existing vendors.
- Manage the due diligence and approval processes for new vendors.
- Review and negotiate IP transit costs.
- Assist with contractual negotiation and act as a liaison between vendors, the Backblaze legal department, and internal business owners.
- Onboard approved vendors into Backblaze systems.
- Connect vendors with internal stakeholders for technology and roadmap reviews.
- Develop vendor performance scorecards.
- Schedule and lead annual vendor performance reviews.
- Manage the vendor escalation and resolution process.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager or other Management.

- Eager to make a meaningful impact through data-driven decisions and strong vendor alignment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management.
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex vendor contracts and relationships.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and vendor management tools is a plus.
