Here’s what we’re up to: https://bit.ly/4fyXonBAs an Integrations Engineer at Choco, you will be a key part of our Solution Engineers team, responsible for implementing seamless integrations between the Choco platform and the systems used by our customers—primarily ERP systems. While this is a backend-focused role, your work will directly impact customer success and operational efficiency, forming the backbone of how data flows between platforms.We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and technically skilled individual who’s eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in our Chicago office.What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Choco and various customer ERP systems using a non-code/low-code platform.
  • Collaborate with Solution engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Assist in mapping data models between internal systems and third-party software.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging of integration services.
  • Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Learn the operational landscape of food distributors and how their systems interact with Choco’s platform.

Who You Are

  • 1–2 years of experience in software development or system integration, ideally in a B2B SaaS or logistics/food tech environment.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with database systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curious, analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Interested in learning how food distributors operate and how technology supports their workflows.
  • You strive to make a meaningful impact on society through your everyday work.
  • This role requires you to work 3 days per week from our Chicago, IL office

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience integrating with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite etc.
  • Exposure to iPaaS platforms (e.g. n8n, Mulesoft, Make, Zapier).
  • AI project experience, whether personal or professional, is a strong plus.
