Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Inside Sales to build and lead our Inside Sales function from the ground up. Based in Bucharest, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling a high-performing team focused on driving ARTESCA sales across key EMEA countries including (but not limited to) France, the UK, and DACH.The team will initially be made up of Inside Territory Managers in hybrid roles (channel + direct touch), with the potential to expand into functions such as renewals and customer retention as our business grows.This is a unique opportunity for a structured, data-driven leader who thrives on building something new, setting clear processes, and driving performance through KPIs and collaboration.Key Responsibilities- Build and lead the Inside Sales team from scratch, starting with key EMEA territories.- Define and implement scalable sales processes, workflows, and KPIs.- Drive pipeline generation and new business opportunities for ARTESCA, in close alignment with field sales, marketing, and channel teams.- Ensure the team balances both channel engagement and direct customer interactions, aligned with Scality’s go-to-market strategy.- Partner with regional sales leaders and field channel managers to align on territory coverage, opportunity prioritization, and sales motions.- Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns that support pipeline growth.- Work with Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and long-term customer value.- Monitor performance through data and dashboards, using insights to optimize team productivity.- Recruit, onboard, and coach new team members as the team grows.Requirements- Minimum 7 years of experience building and leading Inside Sales teams, preferably in the SaaS space.- Proven track record of setting up sales processes, KPIs, and operational frameworks from the ground up.- Strong understanding of tier-2 channels go-to-market models.- Experience working with alliances and partnerships (including ISVs)- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn metrics into actionable strategy.- Highly structured and organised, with strong execution skills.- Experience working cross-functionally with regional sales leaders, marketing, customer success, and channel teams.- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.- Fluency in English is requiredWhy Join Us?At Scality, you’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative, and mission-driven team.
