Business Intelligence Analyst

AvitureOnsite

Description

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can turn chaos into clarity—and data into direction.

At Aviture, we don’t just deliver software—we deliver outcomes. Now, we’re taking on a new challenge at a key customer site, and we need someone who’s ready to be our frontline data whisperer. This is more than a numbers gig. You’ll be onsite, shoulder to shoulder with the client, uncovering insights, guiding strategy, and building the kind of reports and dashboards that actually get read (and acted on). You’ll be the tip of the spear: leading the charge for Aviture, translating data into decisions, and making sure we’re not just meeting expectations—we’re setting the standard.

This is an onsite role at a customer facility. You’ll be embedded and empowered. We’re counting on you to shape what this line of business looks like—for them, and for us.

Sound like your kind of challenge? Let’s build something smart together.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

  • Embedding with a major customer onsite to understand their goals, pain points, and decision-making needs.

  • Designing, building, and delivering dashboards, reports, and visualizations that make complexity disappear.

  • Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL-ing) data from various sources—because clean data is happy data.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs, identify trends, and spot opportunities before they become missed ones.

  • Acting as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams—helping them speak the same language (spoiler: it’s data).

  • Working with the Aviture home team to shape BI strategy for this customer and beyond—this is the start of something bigger.

  • Helping to define the tools, tech, and templates we’ll reuse across future engagements.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems—or real-world experience that made you fluent in data.

  • 3+ years in a BI, data analyst, or similar role where you weren’t just making pretty charts—you were solving real problems.

  • Proven experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

  • Strong SQL skills (and maybe some Python or R for good measure).

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (bonus points for AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Excellent communication chops—you can explain a complex metric to a C-suite exec without anyone breaking a sweat.

  • A bias toward action, curiosity, and a healthy skepticism of default assumptions.

  • An ability to obtain a top-secret security clearance.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience working directly with external clients or in high-stakes, high-visibility environments.

  • Can model data like a pro—snowflakes, stars, and everything in between.

  • Know a thing or two about data governance, security, and compliance.

  • Are the kind of person who says “Why are we doing it this way?” (and then finds a better way).

Benefits

  • PPO or a High Deductible Health Plan, HSA eligible plan, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Life.
  • Generous paid time off that starts accruing on day one.
  • Hybrid work environment with quarterly Castaway Week events in the Omaha HQ Office, all expenses paid, from across the country to participate in team-building, collaboration, and fun events.
  • Company vacations!!! Previous destinations have included Napa Valley, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and Aspen.
  • Matching 401k with 100% vesting in six months.
  • Pick your preferred workstation! Mac? PC? We’ll support you with the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Get paid to go to national and international conferences and training, so that you can stay up to date with the latest innovations.
  • Flexible work schedules: Work the times that fits your schedule, with all meetings required to be scheduled between 9 am and 3 pm CST.
  • Free lunch every Friday and recurring team events for you and your family to enjoy.
  • Incentive and bonus pay.
  • Opportunities for connection and growth through peer coaching, recurring Lightning Talks to share things we’re passionate about, and a bi-weekly company-wide All Hands.
