Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):


Spry is seeking a Supervisor of Financial Analysts to join our team supporting a government contract in Washington, DC. In this role, you will oversee junior and mid-level financial analysts, providing comprehensive Program and Financial Management (PM&FM) analysis and technical support. Key responsibilities include guiding budget preparation, evaluating organizational performance, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and researching economic developments. You will develop budget policies, conduct training sessions, coordinate financial activities, manage multiple funding types, and produce executive summaries.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):


  • As a supervisor overseeing junior and mid-level financial analysts, your role encompasses a variety of critical tasks to ensure the effective management and oversight of financial operations.
  • Your responsibilities include:
  • Providing Guidance and Technical Assistance: Offer advice and technical support in the preparation of annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Evaluate organizational performance and assess the impact of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Budget Examination: Review budget estimates and proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):


  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience
  • EVM Cert or equivalent
  • DAU Cost Estimating credential
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):


  • Masters degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • EVM Cert or equivalent
  • DAU Cost Estimating or Financial Management Practitioner certification.
  • Demonstrated competency in ERP.
  • Demonstrated experience working in DoD program building budgets and developing budget exhibits.
  • Demonstrated experience training other contractor BFMs to ensure their competency.
  • Supervisory skills to oversee other contractor BFMs to ensure their satisfactory support.
