an

eCommerce Production Specialist. 

 This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our online store. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless customer experience by maintaining accurate product listings, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams to drive online sales..  
The eCommerce Production Specialist is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining eCommerce/Web-to-Print solutions.  This includes product programming, store setup and backend workflow configuration to help align business requirements with software functions and features. This position requires an individual with excellent customer service, design and analytical skills who also has experience in design and/or prepress production.A comfort level and ability to engage directly with client representatives is required, whether via email, phone, or online meetings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage, prioritize, and coordinate the completion of multiple ongoing client engagement projects.
  • Participate/develop/manage the overall development lifecycle including the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of eCommerce solutions, and help align business requirements with software functions and features.
  • Collaborate on projects from discovery to deployment
  • Configure and develop system enhancements and integrations
  • Develop and document processes
  • Communicate with clients on implementation and maintenance
  • Create and build new eCommerce/Web-to-Print stores using Pressero platform
  • Program and test variable products using the eDocBuilder software platform
  • Maintain and improve programming, prepress, design and customer service skills through research and training. This includes maintaining skills in communications, programming, Adobe Creative Suite, and various eCommerce platform environments.
  • Plan efficient and consistent multi-product solutions for clients, focusing on achieving desired functionality within the scope of current software and workflow options.
  • Work closely with Franchise Members to optimize their workflow with available technology solutions: eCommerce, integration with MIS systems, file automation, hotfolders, etc.
  • Provide client storefront support via help desk calls, emailed inquires or referred issues from peers including support of programming and workflow questions.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


  • eCommerce store builder skillset
  • Design and/or prepress production experience
  • A foundational understanding and efficiency with core digital/offset printing concepts, including color swatches, color correction, fonts, page layout, bleeds, imposition, and transparency
  • An understanding and proficiency with basic programming concepts, including writing conditional logic statements
  • An ability to multi-task with accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline driven production environment
  • An ability to work as part of a collaborative team with shared tasks and goals.
  • Strong organizational skills for all project elements, including digital assets, notes, and communications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills, including an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with Content Management Systems
  • Technical writing skills
  • Experience with variable data publishing software a plus (XMPie, FusionPro, eDocBuilder)
  • Experience with HTML/CSS a plus
  • Experience with eDocBuilder a plus
  • Experience with Pressero a plus

Education


  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience strongly preferred
