With nearly 100 employees, offices in six countries, and a diverse global customer base, Zivid is shaping the future of machine vision and robotics.We are looking for a highly motivatedand skilled embedded software engineer who want to join our team and play a crucial role in leading the development of next generation of 3D cameras from concept to production.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs an Embedded Software Engineer at Zivid, you will work closely with software, FPGA, hardware, and machine vision engineers designing embedded software for the next generation 3D cameras.
You will be working with embedded firmware in C and C++, real-time operating systems, network stacks, imaging sensors, drivers, and integration with FPGA and hardware. You are passionate about embedded systems, low-level C/C++ code, and best practices in software development. You are expected to tackle most other aspects of embedded software engineering: debugging, scripting, testing, automation, continuous integration, and documentation. WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Passion and experience with embedded firmware development in C or preferably C++
- Experience with any of the following: embedded operating systems (RTOS), network-stacks, FPGAs, or test development is a plus
- Version control systems in daily use are required; we use git
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Creative troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills
- A self-driven team player with a passion for technology
- Good English verbal and written skills
- 2+ years of experience, but new graduates with matching skill sets and excellent grades are encouraged to apply
