Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time
Commercial Loan Documentation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee various duties related to preparing both standard and complex commercial loan documentation within the loan platform system and reviewing loan closing packages for compliance, accuracy, and completeness on a daily basis. You'll also supervise a skilled team, ensure operational efficiency, refine procedures, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
Essential Functions Include:
- Review the team’s group email box to ensure that all transactions get assigned in a timely manner and manages all Documentation Specialist’s pipelines to ensure transactions are received in the required turn time.
- Write and continuously update detailed procedures that instruct team members as to the preparation of commercial loan documentation. An exceptional knowledge of commercial loan structure including documentation and real and personal property liens; working knowledge of UCC, real estate laws, banking laws and compliance regulations; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank commercial products and services is required. Procedures will also include instructions for ordering and reviewing all due diligence reports required for commercial loans, including but not limited to appraisals/evaluations, flood zone certifications, good standing verifications, UCC Searches, P & J Reports, Title Insurance.
- Assist Supervisor with the review of documentation packages prior to them being sent to legal for review or to directly to closing.
- Provide training to all documentation specialists on a regular, usually quarterly, basis, to review new procedures and re-review existing ones as needed.
- Provide documentation assistance when team’s pipeline becomes full, this includes preparing documents for new products and testing new procedures to ensure they are accurate.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
- Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.
Location:
This position could be located in our Easton or Waldorf offices. This posting is for our Waldorf office located at 3035 Leonardtown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time.
- Exempt.
- Days of Work: Monday-Friday.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Associate degree or above in a related field preferred or equivalent relative experience; specialized lending education/training.
- A minimum of five (5) years of commercial documentation experience required, or a combination of supervising & documentation experience.
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $61,522 to $110,000 annually. The targeted starting range is $61,522 to $78,000.
- Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
