Who We Are Looking For:


We are seeking a Packaging Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a passion for packaging identity and deep expertise in production and execution, ensuring designs are print-ready and optimized for both DTC and retail. This role requires experience leading packaging redesigns, establishing and maintaining brand identity, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality packaging and print materials to market.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Packaging Production Designer. Experience executing a large packaging redesign required. 
  • Design and execute high-quality, print-ready packaging artwork for both DTC and retail
  • Conduct and implement findings from packaging audits to enhance brand consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure all packaging aligns with brand identity, regulatory requirements, and production standards. 
  • Apply design principles including visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance, alignment, proportion, typography, and color theory to create effective visual assets.
  • Collaborate with art director, product development, marketing, and supply chain teams to bring packaging concepts to market.
  • Produce 3D prototypes, modeling and mock-ups for packaging, print and retail projects and present design concepts to cross functional teams for feedback and approval.
  • Manage dieline, print production specifications, press-checks, and proofing processes with vendors.
  • Strong understanding of print production in packaging and retail environments color management, complexities of printing on different substrates  and packaging materials.
  • Manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills and a proactive approach to achieving high-quality execution across all design touchpoints.
  • Passion for beauty and the ability to align with Thrive Causemetics' mission.

This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
