Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Information Technology Manager to oversee our IT department and ensure the effective management of our technology resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, information security, and network support. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects while ensuring the integrity and security of our systems. This position will manage a team of six employees. Proven leadership ability is essential. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
Duties
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet organizational goals and deadlines.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and maintain business continuity.
- Oversee network support activities, including troubleshooting LAN issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure information security protocols are in place, regularly updated, and adhered to by all staff.
- Manage cloud services, particularly AWS, to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems, including software such as SQL and Word.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
