In this role you will support our Community Developer with organising events for our freelancer community. Moreover you will join these events and represent Malt as a trusted partner. You will be part of a rapidly growing scale-up as you work in an exciting cross-cultural and international environment.

Key responsibilities ✨


  • Plan and organise external events for our freelancer community (location search, booking a photographer, etc.) and cooperate with external stakeholders
  • Create promotional materials such as banners or posts for social media
  • Work together with the Content team to present the events in a newsletter 
  • Join our events to represent Malt and act as a point of contact for the external stakeholder and freelancers

About you 🧑‍🚀


  • You are looking for a working student contract
  • You are creative, organised, independent and results-oriented - Malt interns don't make coffee - instead, they work on challenging projects and take responsibility for them
  • Ideally you bring first experience in the field of event management or organisation and are familiar with tools like Canva or Hubspot
  • You are fluent in German and English

  • First call with Chloé (Talent Acquisition Manager) to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have. (20-30 minutes)
  • Interview with your future manager Rebecca (Community Developer) to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (30 minutes)
  • Role play & final interview with Pascal (Head of Community, Project Partnering & CX DACH). (30min)
  • We will send you an interview guide so you can best prepare yourself.
