About the Lifecycle Marketing Team


The Lifecycle Marketing Team at Thumbtack is dedicated to delivering personalized, data-driven experiences that engage, convert, and retain our pros and consumers. We leverage cutting-edge marketing technology and automation to create seamless, impactful journeys across channels like email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. About the Role


We are looking for an individual contributor Lifecycle Marketing Manager who will support and optimize our lifecycle marketing programs. This role involves managing a range of moderate to large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and analytical marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work autonomously while escalating more complex challenges as needed.In this role, you will execute and refine lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

You will optimize message frequency and targeting, leverage experimentation to improve performance, and ensure our marketing programs provide a seamless and personalized customer experience while driving key business outcomes.

What you’ll do


  • Manage and optimize lifecycle marketing programs across email, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Execute A/B tests and experimentation to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to refine messaging, timing, and targeting.
  • Support the development and refinement of campaign ideas, working closely with creative and technical teams.
  • Implement audience segmentation strategies to personalize customer journeys.
  • Deploy and optimize campaigns with limited guidance, proactively identifying inefficiencies and improving processes.
  • Contribute to lifecycle marketing strategy discussions and support campaign planning and execution.
  • Review dashboards, summarize results, and use data to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Manage small projects or process improvements, proactively anticipating challenges and taking ownership of deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, providing updates and engaging professionally in discussions.

In order to be successful, you must bring


  • 3-5 years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, or related marketing roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing lifecycle campaigns, including email, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing best practices.
  • Experience running A/B tests and using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and recommend optimizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
