In this role, you will lead the design, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise will directly impact the scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve deployment reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure solutions with application performance, security, and scalability goals.
- Build infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement configuration management and automation with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Set up and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.
- Proactively identify and drive improvements across the SDLC, automating manual processes wherever possible.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, performance, and security.
- Perform system tuning, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert preferred.
- Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure, including hands-on experience with services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, etc.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CodePipeline, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, networking, and security principles in cloud environments.
- Experience working with authentication and SSO tools such as Auth0.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira and experience leveraging automation workflows.
- Experience with database platforms such as MongoDB Atlas, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
