Job Description

Alluxio is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Enterprise Field Sales Team representing Alluxio products and services both pre and post sale. In this role in addition to enabling sales opportunities for Alluxio you will be playing the role of hands-on technologist and working with current customers to ensure their success. Your will be partnering with organizations to help them understand how Alluxio can be applied to their AI/ML and big data business challenges. Responsibillity

Communicate with prospects' tech team, understand their needs, identify targeting customers based on their technical requirements.
Design and present Alluxio-based solutions for prospects; design and finish POC;
Work with sales to explore the market, visit existing customers and prospects, collect feedbacks, understand the market and technology trends.
Provide customer's needs and market observations for Product team; align customers with Alluxio's product roadmap.

Qualification

4 yrs of engineering, solution, architecture experience in big data or AI/ML areas;
Familiar with Java and Python, better to have experience with Shell Scripting and GoLang;
Familiar with and having hands-on experience of using Docker and Kubernetes as a developer or solution engineer;
Familiar with big data ecosystem, more than one compute frameworks (i.e. Hadoop/Spark/Presto/Impala/Flink), one or more storage systems (i.e. HDFS, S3, Ceph), having experiences of using aforementioned tech as developer or solution engineer;
Familiar with ML/AI frameworks (i.e. TensorFlow, PyTorch), having related working experiences (i.e. )or finished related courses;
Better to be able to communicate in English;
Motiviated, self-driven, teamwork spirit;
Faster learner.
