About the role...


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated financial accountant to join our finance team. In this role you would manage and maintain General Ledger activities and sub-ledger details for various assets and liabilities including, but not limited to, cash, receivables, prepaid assets, fixed assets, intangible assets, and accruals. The ideal candidate has a background in audit/accounting, works collaboratively in a team setting, and demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all payroll accounting, including payroll journals, bonus accruals, commission accounting, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Partner with People/HR and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of global payrolls.
  • Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring correct classification, depreciation, disposals, and reporting.
  • Track and record monthly prepayments and maintain related schedules.
  • Support preparation of VAT and overseas sales tax filings in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Min Qualifications:

  • London based
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit or similar role 
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience handling complex reconciliations
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, and managing multiple priorities.

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:


  • Experience with NetSuite ERP 
  • Familiarity with international payroll and tax environments
  • Knowledge of multi-entity or multi-currency accounting
  • Understanding of VAT & Sales Tax
  • SaaS industry experience
