Job Summary


The role we are looking to fill is a Site Supervisor position in

Windsor


, CO; performing services and providing supervision of onsite personnel at our client’s site. The services include operating equipment, handling material, waste management (containerized waste, bulk), and overall compliance of the sites.  The supervisor will act as point of contact on client site to insure completion of projects and meeting production needs.

Accountabilities


  • Supervise and manage site technician(s) to ensure proper scheduling of staff and materials.
  • Flexibility to work differing hours to meet coverage needs. 
  • Accountable to team activities and programs on client’s sites.
  • Insuring adherence to safety compliance, quality improvement, personnel activities, and recordkeeping set forth by client and ACT management. 
  • Mentor employees, including instruction on equipment use and written documentation needed.
  • Assist operations staff in reducing cycle time at customer sites by developing, suggesting, and requesting staff input for ideas to improve services and decrease costs.
  • Assign operations priorities for customer service tasks received directly from customers or ACT management.
  • Ensure internal safety and compliance policies are adhered to on all projects.
  • Maintain company operational standards and communicate them to employees.
  • Maintain compliance with company health and safety policies and communicate them to team.
  • Work with and motivate teams in a positive manner.
  • Proactively manage by anticipating and communicating potential issues to Program Manager before they occur.
  • Conduct audits including inspections of operation areas, and equipment to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
  • Perform other assignments as given by management.

Knowledge Skills and Ability


  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) 
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented 
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Health and Safety conscious
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • One (1-3) years prior experience in the hazardous materials/waste industry
  • One (1+) year with Forklift experience (clean driving record and active driver’s license required)
  • Ability to use small power tools 
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical, and drug-screen

Education and Experience


  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience in the hazardous materials/waste industry preferred
  • Successfully completed HAZWOPER 40 hour (must have copies if certified), a plus
