This role is essential to maintaining proper stock levels and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Manage and track all incoming shipments, verifying materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Oversee the put-away process for inbound inventory, ensuring timely and accurate placement in designated storage locations.
- Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas in accordance with safety and operational standards.
- Assist with inventory audits and physical inventory counts as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Utilize inventory management systems and tools for data entry and tracking.
- Leverage previous and verifiable experience with inventory management/ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Perform basic tasks using Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Perform other warehouse and inventory-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience with inventory management systems or ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite) is strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift experience required.
- Familiarity with inventory software and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to work rotating Saturdays.
