Quality Technician-Day Shift

Summary


Performs part and quality document reviews in accordance with established procedures.Pay Range: $25-30/hour, depending upon experience.Medical, Dental & Vision effective day one! Competitive 401(k) with employer match and several other benefits offered.

$2000 sign on bonus. 


Primary Responsibilities


  • Reviews, files, and maintains quality documentation.
  • Prepares all final paperwork for record retention and customer documentation.
  • Scans Records into ERP by job.
  • Helps develop and create job folders.
  • Performs FAIRS and final inspections.
  • Prepares customer critical dimension paperwork.
  • Creates digital Certificate of Compliance for customers through their portals.
  • Creates customer certification packets.
  • Hand measurement of parts as it pertains to final inspection
  • Assists with audit preparation
  • Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with the Quality Management System.

Qualifications


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to use manual quality hand tools (micrometer, pin gage, gage plugs, drop indicator, etc.)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with FDA (CFR 820) Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485 and AS9100 Standards.

Reasoning Ability


• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Ability to self-start problem solve with minimal direction.  

Computer Skills


• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Experience with data entry into an ERP system (Epicor a plus)
