Under the direction of the Real Estate Manager, the Leasing Associate is responsible for overseeing all processing involving leasing, including maximizing occupancy by generating qualified traffic, networking within the local community, scheduling appointments, securing rentals, promoting resident retention, and providing or coordinating exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:Assisting with Resident Relations:· Support the property management team in responding to resident inquiries and concerns.· Assist with the leasing process, including scheduling property tours and preparing lease documents.· Coordinate communication between residents and property management staff.Supporting Property Maintenance:· Assist with property inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.· Help coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks, including obtaining quotes from contractors and monitoring progress.· Respond to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely resolution of issues.Financial Assistance:· Aid in collecting and recording rent payments from residents.· Assist in maintaining financial records and preparing reports for property owners.· Support budgeting and forecasting activities for property operations.Learning Legal Compliance:· Learn about local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations under the guidance of experienced property managers.· Assist with ensuring that lease agreements and other documents comply with legal requirements.· Gain exposure to eviction proceedings and other legal matters related to property management.Marketing and Administrative Support:· Assist with marketing efforts to attract prospective residents, including updating online listings and preparing promotional materials.· Support administrative tasks such as maintaining resident records, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.· Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, including conducting unit inspections and processing paperwork.You might be a great fit for our team if you have:· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in business administration, real estate, property management, or a related field.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Valid Driver’s License· Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel specifically)· Basic understanding of property management software is a plus.· Must be able to walk apartments and grounds, including steps and climbing stairs· Occasionally requires lifting 20 pounds or lessFor our regular full-time roles we offer a great benefits package!· 401K Retirement Plan with employer match· Company paid Group Life/AD&D Insurance· 20 Vacation & Sick Days· 12 Paid Holidays plus your birthday· No cost Short & Long Term Disability Income Insurance· Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance· Medical FSA, Dependent Care FSA and Transportation spending accounts· Employee Referral Program (Restrictions Apply)· Housing Discounts for select roles· Up to $3K per year in continued education pertaining to your position OR the position you can be promoted to· Annual and Quarterly Performance Bonuses for select rolesFSLA Status: {Non-exempt}AION Management is an equal opportunity employer.
