The Analyst will develop data insights and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance to identify improvements to the overall data ecosystem.This person will serve as the analytics project manager for partners, responsible for requirements gathering, data validation, and creating deliverables for our partners. Project managers are strategic. They focus on the product’s vision and our partners’ objectives.Data & Analytics
- Build data driven solutions in order to support partner priorities.
- Demonstrate excellent story-telling skills with data visualizations.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and dashboards to support the day-to-day needs of our partners.
- Be proactive in suggesting analysis & data projects related to revenue generation, ticket sales, digital marketing or other subject matter areas
- Manage analytics projects related to Google Analytics, mobile apps, and various ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
- Develop datasets and models using SQL, R or Python.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on topics including pricing, customer lead scoring, attendance forecasting, market segmentation, digital marketing and customer retention.
- Support new data products and their front-end analytics development
- Identify analytics trends and emerging platforms that enable partners to continuously evolve, acquire new consumers, and increase engagement.
Project Management
- Act as a point of contact for current partners and stakeholders, organizing project status meetings and working sessions as appropriate.
- Gather requirements and develop feature acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business problems and provide short- and long-term solutions to stakeholders
- Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans.
- Use Agile tools and development guidelines to regularly ship data products and projects.
- Continuously identify and develop solutions to automate processes and improve efficiencies for our partners.
- Translate the end user’s strategy into actionable tasks and work with cross-functional teams to execute those requirements.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE…
- A Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in business administration or computer/data science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience with a sports or entertainment organization, partner or league.
- Previous experience working with ticketing, email marketing, or digital datasets.
- Experience working with Google Analytics, various CRMs, ticketing platforms, marketing automation tools, etc.
- 2-3 years experience with manipulating complex data sets using SQL, R or Python.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor key messages to the appropriate audience.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability of strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- A general understanding of data warehousing, ETLs, and data ecosystems.
- Strong customer service attitude and the desire to assist others.
- High level of detail orientation with focus on accuracy and organization.
- A willingness to grow and learn new tactics, strategies, and software.
- Experience in building dashboards in a BI tool (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, etc.).
