We are seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team while driving technical excellence and innovation.What You Will Do
- Provide strategic leadership and technical direction to key engineering functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to define and execute the company’s technical vision.
- Collaborate with product teams to conceptualize, design, prototype, estimate, and deliver high-impact software solutions.
- Oversee the full app development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, testing, and release to app stores.
- Drive best practices for continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and system architecture.
- Act as both a hands-on contributor and manager to engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance applications while optimizing growth and monetization strategies.
- Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-native applications, leveraging AWS Serverless technologies.
What You Need
- 5+ years of management experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring, hiring, and performance management.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in software architecture and application development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and MVC.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications, preferably using AWS Serverless technologies.
- Exposure to digital advertising technologies and familiarity with platforms like AdMob is a plus.
- Proven experience working with high-volume applications and related back-end services.
- Knowledge of subscription content models and in-app purchases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead technical discussions, and a strategic mindset.
