Work Location: Huntsville, ALSchedule: Full Time 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized)Relocation Assistance: NegotiableIronMountain Solutions is seeking a Command & Control Network Systems Engineer to provide Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO).  which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army’s Mid-Range Capability (MRC) missile system.The Command and Control Network Systems Engineer will advise MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability.  They will also assist with the systems architecture and federated integration of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) in the MRC Battery Operations Center.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the build of data and comms network supporting the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC).
  • Work as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability tying other yet to be defined C2 networks
  • Lead the way in advising the best choices for network management for the MRC COC.
  • Help to define what these networks will look like in the near future.

Requirements: 


  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Ten years of experience working with Systems Engineering.
  • Five years specifically working in Systems Engineering for a DoD weapons system in an acquisition program office or an Original Equipment Manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in network/IP configuration management
  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel in support of business needs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. 

Preferred Qualifications


  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with technical missile system fire direction and power systems development
  • Experience with Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Aegis Weapon System (AWS), the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS)
  • Experience with fielded DoD internet terminal systems (Starlink, SIPR/NIPR Access Point (SNAP), T2Network Systems)
  • Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements management as well as techniques to drive system behaviors
  • Experience conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria
