For more information, please visit www.climateimpactx.com.CIX is looking for a Market Operations Analyst who will be a part of a cohesive, highly motivated team in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
The candidate will be part of the team responsible for conducting operations for all the CIX platforms. They will also work with other stakeholders to identify business changes and regulatory developments. The individual will report to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct trade operations including settlement, dispute resolution and reconciliation.
- Ensure cash and credit balance reconciliations are cleared and documented.
- Develop and execute the controls as required to enhance market operations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all platforms.
- Support regular and ad hoc reporting for all products.
- Create and maintain static and market data relating to CIX clients and products.
- Work closely with appointed stakeholders to ensure systems and processes are alignment for pre- and post-trade activities.
- Identify, recommend and effectively implement best practices and market standards to CIX controls and processes.
- Conduct client on boarding to the CIX platforms including AML/KYC checks.
- Manage and respond to all client support queries.
- Publish CIX Intelligence products daily.
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years of professional experience in financial services industry specially within exchange market operations.
- Proven understanding of exchange traded products and back-office processes. Knowledge of carbon credits or other environmental trading assets would be beneficial.
- Proven knowledge of KYC and AML practices.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills as the role includes engaging market participants and representatives.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and lean environment.
