Position Summary
We’re looking for a Pump Repair and Service Sales Representative to grow and support business within a designated territory (North of Houston). This role focuses on developing new opportunities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver top-tier service and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Drive sales of pumps, parts, and related services
- Regularly visit customer sites to identify needs, provide solutions, and generate leads
- Prepare accurate quotes for new equipment and repair services, utilizing selected programs and catalogs
- Select and size pump systems using internal tools and technical catalogs
- Analyze specifications and create tailored project proposals
- Assemble complete submittal and sales packages as needed
- Ensure product quality and provide on-site technical support
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to deliver effective solutions
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in pump sales and service
- Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, mechanical seals, and rotating equipment
- Municipal and Commercial pump application knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude to estimate material and labor cost for removal and installation projects
- Proven success in building client relationships and closing sales
- Professional presence with a customer-first attitude
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software
