We are seeking an Air and Missile Defense Training Analyst to provide direct support to the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PMO), Logistics Directorate with expert analysis in designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs that enhance soldier skills and drive organizational performance in accordance with United States Army Regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire training lifecycle, from needs assessment and curriculum development to program delivery and evaluation.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand specific knowledge and skill requirements. To be successful in this role, you need to have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies as well as excellent written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals and job aids.
- Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to ensure content is engaging, relevant, and impactful. Facilitate training sessions for soldiers at all levels, utilizing a variety of delivery methods (classroom, virtual, blended learning).
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters knowledge retention and skill application.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to learners to ensure successful knowledge transfer. Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods.
- Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
- Track and report on training program metrics, including participation, performance improvement, and return on investment.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in training and development. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Required
- BA or BS Degree
- 5+ years of proven experience in a training and development role. A strong understanding of and experience with Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems
- Excellent curriculum development and facilitation skills, with experience in various delivery methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant applications
- Up to 50% travel CONUS and OCONUS
- Must have an in-scope Secret security clearance
