PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to InspiriTec’s Lead Case Manager, this position is responsible for the provision of individual and group social services for individuals with disabilities participating in vocational training and employment programs at InspiriTec. Directs hiring and recruitment in compliance with InspiriTec’s ethos and policies.
INDIVIDUAL SERVICES
●Serve as primary support person to employees during training, offering counseling, brokerage, mediation and advocacy.●Assess with employees potential barriers (environmental, architectural, or personal in nature) that may hinder or prevent them from completing training, securing and maintaining employment, and/or adjusting to living independently.●Develop, implement and monitor with employees service plans/contracts in accordance with program objectives to overcome identified barriers.●Provide on-going case management services for all employees.●Monitoring progress and time off requests and attendance records.●Meet with Project Manager and management team on a regular basis to coordinate overall plan, and strategies for call center and CSR’s.●Plan and implement incentive programs to recognize employee achievement. ●Develop employee action plans and timeline for corrective action as needed. ●Maintain harmony among co – workers and resolve grievances.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
●Ensure qualification of individuals under the AbilityOne program and maintain up to date initial and annual Source America eligibility evaluations alongside corresponding medical records at all times; ensure confidentiality of records at all times. ●Utilize current methods and develop additional procedures, instruments, and techniques necessary for the provision of individual and group social service including the use of computer systems.●Maintain contact with liaison counselors (funding source) and agencies, providing regular evaluations and accommodations.●Expand and maintain a resource library of literature on available disability-related services for individuals and professional within the community, including military specific resources.●Engage in program evaluation by keeping accurate and appropriate records.●Assist with special projects and assignments as needed.●EN specialist for Ticket to work program, write all IWPs for assignable tickets, and perform follow ups ensuring we abide by social security guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
●Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.●Minimum 5 years direct social service experience with individuals and groups.●Attitude of accountability and pride in work effort.●Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative approach to enhance morale and well-being for individuals in the workplace.●Openness, willingness, flexibility, and social consciousness. ●Team oriented with the ability to work independently to meet goals and timelines. ●Provision of physical assistance to persons with disabilities as needed (if physically able).●Must be able to analyze data and manage accordingly.●Must be able to work alternating hours; occasional nights and weekends required.●Strong project management and operational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.●Experience working with referral sources of disabled job candidates, such as:
