Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role:As a Content Specialist, you’ll play a key role in content production processes, with a primary focus on proofreading and quality control. This includes proofreading and copyediting to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of content across multiple formats.This role is ideal for someone with strong English language skills, a sharp eye for detail, and an interest in working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Proofread and copyedit complex documents for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and content accuracy.
- Identify inconsistencies in data, references, language, and templates.
- Coordinate with publishing specialists, other proofreaders, and SMEs to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to style and brand guidelines.
- Support multi-channel workflows (print, web, presentation, PDF) under established deadlines.
- Support the growth of the Content Specialist role within Wizeline.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in proofreading or copyediting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a command of grammar, syntax, and presentation clarity.
- Experience with editorial style guides, such as AP Style or The Chicago Manual of Style.
- Excellent attention to detail, process orientation, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and unpredictable workloads while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Familiarity with Workfront and Adobe Acrobat.
