By providing our suppliers and customers with streamlined services, they are able to focus on their core business.Tricon Turkey is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our Istanbul team. At Tricon, our people are our greatest asset, and we are looking for a motivated professional to support our growing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of physical trades, including overseeing product movement, documentation, and payment flows between customers, suppliers, and freight providers. You will coordinate vessel operations, ensure compliance with import/export regulations, maintain accurate ERP records, and optimize logistics processes. Additionally, you will work closely with internal departments to align financial, credit, and compliance requirements while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless trade execution.Responsibilities 

  • Manage the product, documentation and payment flow to customers, suppliers, and freight providers for the physical trades of the assigned business unit.
  • Plan and direct vessel/container loading and discharge operations with ship brokers/freight forwarders and determine suitability of transportation offered, including review of prior cargoes, tank conditions, and materials of construction to ensure safe carriage of product that meets customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP system as per company policy.
  • Ensure the import and export customs processes of the products traded are managed efficiently.
  • Look for ways to improve processes, maximize performance, and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with various departments internally to understand financial, credit, and compliance requirements related to individual trades.
  • Negotiate rates with third party logistics and inspection service providers.
  • Communicate shipment detail with local and international teams.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, customers, and service providers to ensure an effective execution of physical bulk and containerized trade operations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Fluency in English, French is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, or related business field (required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Experience working in an ERP system (preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience in logistics or physical commodity movements (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, Import/Export Procedures & Documents (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and team work ability, able to work under pressure
