Description
Utility Operator to carry out operation and maintenance of FPSO power and utility systems as directed by the Mechanical supervisor.• Assist the maintenance and production teams to monitor and control of the FPSO utility & support systems, to ensure safe and efficient operation. of the facility. • Ensure the FPSO utility systems are operating in safe conditions and report any abnormality to the CRO/PIC. The cleanliness and housekeeping of the working areas is part of the duty. • Daily monitoring of power generation systems maintaining watch keeping duties within the engine room and hull machinery spaces as directed by the Mechanical supervisor.
• Responsible for the diesel system: transfer of diesel from storage tanks to settling tanks, and the operation and cleaning of diesel fuel oil centrifuges to ensure availability of fuel oil in day tanks. • Assist with bunkering of diesel and transfer to storage tanks. • Daily operation and monitoring of reverse osmosis water makers as directed by the mechanical supervisor. • Daily operation of following systems or otherwise directed by the Mechanical Supervisor: air, sewage, bilge, oily water separator, pot water, drill water, central cooling, HVAC systems.
• Daily logbook to be maintained of equipment running parameters and tanks soundings. • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance in accordance with the CMMS system as directed by the Mechanical supervisor. • Ensures that all tasks carried out comply with BWE HSSE standards
Requirements
• >3 years’ experience in this field in similar.• Relevant Technical and Maintenance experience on an FPSO or similar facility and detailed knowledge of Facility Operations and Maintenance.• Experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment.
