About Us: We are a growing e-commerce company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial and operational processes. This is a critical role, as you will be the sole in-house finance and accounting professional, collaborating with external partners to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Create weekly cash forecasts and KPI reports for executives.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal use.
  • Manage and reconcile all vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and contractor invoices.
  • Oversee and monitor credit card and bank accounts daily for fraud, limits, and reconciliations.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and verify hours, pay rates, and PTO using external payroll systems.
  • Accounts and Payments:
  • Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and process payments.
  • Handle customer credit card disputes and manage chargebacks with merchant services.
  • Review expense management systems and ensure employees submit proper documentation.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Manage company budgets and enforce financial metrics.
  • Maintain contracts and policies for business insurance, software, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI standards and coordinate with the business insurance provider.
  • Work with external partners, including bookkeepers, CPAs, and tax advisors.
  • Compliance and Analysis:
  • Address state sales tax issues and coordinate with the sales tax software provider.
  • Review and manage annual PCI compliance.
  • Monitor and enforce credit reimbursements owed to the company.

Requirements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial operations, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
  • Experience working with KPIs, budgets, and financial forecasting.
  • Knowledge of banking systems, ACHs, and wire transfers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of merchant services, payroll systems, and financial reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or retail financial operations.
  • Basic understanding of state sales taxes and compliance.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and external contracts.
