Patient Operations Manager

Run clinic operations. Lead the patient flow.


We’re hiring a Patient Operations Manager to take charge of patient access, scheduling, and clinic-level efficiency across a network of physical therapy clinics in
San Diego and Orange County. You’ll be based in San Diego and travel to other locations monthly.

What you’ll do:


  • Own day-to-day ops: call-outs, staffing, intake, scheduling, insurance, and customer service
  • Track and report on key metrics—referral response time, visits/hour, no-shows, call handling
  • Supervise admin teams: health info, staffing, benefits coordination
  • Co-manage front-desk staff with local clinic managers
  • Cut patient wait times and improve the experience
  • Help recruit, train, and build a strong clinic team
  • Handle patient complaints and solve system-level issues
  • Visit each clinic monthly to keep things aligned

What you bring:


  • 2+ years managing clinic or patient access operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or similar
  • Strong people management skills—you’ve hired, coached, and improved team performance
  • You’ve worked with EMRs, CRMs, call center tools, and know how to pull the right reports
  • You’re organized, cool under pressure, and good at solving real-time problems
  • Bonus: You’ve worked in physical therapy or MSK-focused clinics
  • Extra bonus: You’ve managed multiple clinic locations or teams
