INRIX is seeking a world class SVP, North America Public Sector Sales responsible for identifying, developing, and driving significant growth for our SaaS-based traffic, signals and road safety technology solutions to Government/Public Sector agencies across the US and Canada. The ideal candidate is a roll-up-your-sleeves sales leader and savvy general manager who is experienced in driving Go to Market plans targeting cities, MPOs and state agencies. Customer obsession is at the heart of this role, particularly experience listening to customers to understand the problems they are trying to solve and advocating customer insights across the INRIX management team.

  • Drive overall Public Sector North America business strategy including analyzing market opportunities, providing strategic insights to the executive leadership team, and leading Go To Market plans
  • Lead sales strategy including sales pipeline development and management for New Logo and Expansion subscription business across North America
  • Plan and manage sales forecasts and communicate progress against targets regularly with executive leadership and sales team
  • Identify and leverage strategic partnerships to cultivate and manage partner, distribution, and channel relationships
  • Lead and drive achievement of fundamental sales metrics and quotas across the Public Sector sales account team
  • Build and mentor Public Sector sales account management and SDR team
  • Collaborate extensively with the marketing and product management teams to develop and execute Go to Market plans
  • Provide insights into pricing and product packaging strategy

Required Skillset

  • 15+ years sales experience including 8+ years’ selling into the state and regional government market and 3+ years SaaS sales experience. Federal government experience a plus.
  • Responsible for 5million quotas, and managing team quotas of 15million+
  • Experience directly managing and building multi-million dollar strategic accounts
  • Sales management experience at a national level or, at a minimum, across multiple large regions in the U.S.
  • Ideally background in mobility, transportation planning, or traffic operations
  • Results-oriented with a proven focus on exceeding sales quota and a sense of urgency and passion
  • Deep familiarity with contracts and government contract frameworks
  • Team player with an ability to navigate a fast-paced and entrepreneurial organization
  • Excellent ability to organize, synthesize, and share strategic insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders on product and sales teams
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

The range listed is just one component of INRIX’s total compensation package and other annual incentives may include bonus, commission and/or stock.
