Are you ready to grow your finance career in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment? We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-oriented, and curious Financial Controller to support our Finance operations and help us scale smarter.In this role, you’ll work in the Finance team and closely with other departments to keep our financial engine running smoothly. You’ll take ownership of both recurring tasks and ad hoc projects, supporting everything from daily bookkeeping to subscription management.

It’s a hands on role where you should be ready to take on a variety of different tasks from more repetitive to out of the box thinking.

How we envision working together


  • For this role you will have to be located in Denmark, with access to our HQ in Copenhagen. In Copenhagen we’re working hybrid with all the flexibility you need.
  • We will start the initial review of applications and our interview process for this role during the month of April..

Responsibilities:


  • Daily bookkeeping – incl. bank reconciliation and accounts payable
  • Accounts Payable (AP) invoice processing – invoice work flow and approval flows
  • Invoicing and subscription renewals, approving and posting invoice proposals, follow up
  • Subscription support – helping Sales with renewal tracking and invoicing
  • Month-end closing – prepare monthly accounts and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
  • Expense management – employee reimbursements
  • Debtor management & cash collection
  • Assist with quotes and bids for resellers and distributors
  • Support and guide our student assistants – and drive smarter, more efficient workflows
  • EU VAT reporting and Intrastat reporting
  • Ad hoc Management support and reporting

To be successful in this role, you have:


  • A degree in Finance or Accounting (or currently finalizing)
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance/accounting role (relevant student jobs count)
  • A structured, detail-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt – things can change quickly here
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping/accounting principles 
  • A data-driven mindset and 
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and cross-functional team
  • Any experience with systems like e-conomics, Stripe, Shopify, or Zenegy is a plus
  • Bonus points for experience with VAT and Intrastat reporting
