We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing Commercial organisation. As a member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in helping to build our communication across Europe and International markets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams and gain experience across multiple communication disciplines. You will report directly to Pia Beltrão Hansen, Senior Director & Head of Commercial Communication Europe and International who is based at our global Headquarters in Hellerup. You will also be based at our global headquarters in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Helping to develop content for digital channels (websites, social media, and newsletters) across our European markets, including tracking and analysis of performance

  • Supporting design and roll out of multi-channel communication campaigns

  • Support with media relations across European affiliates; including drafting messaging for press releases, media events, interviews, trainings, etc.

  • Managing approval of communication materials

Qualifications and Skills:


Ideally, you are in the last year of your Bachelor studies or have started the first year of your Master's studies in Communications, Media & Journalism, or a related field. Furthermore, you have:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in other European languages (Danish, French, Finnish, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish, or Swedish) is an added benefit.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel, and have experience in video editing and graphic design, using tools such as CANVA.

You have a passion for using communication to develop compelling and engaging content for a variety of audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals and journalists - bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to our commercial communications at Ascendis Pharma. You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are a strong team player with a ‘can-do' attitude who thrives in a collaborative, international and informal environment where we challenge and learn from each other. Hours: 2-3 days per week, approx.

15-20 hours in total. We want you to be able to balance your studies and work responsibilities and therefore offer flexibility during exam periods.
