Position Summary
Responsible for outbound profiling for the company. Hands on assistance with profiling support for Branches with outbound profiles. Develop strategies to maximum waste routing through the ACT logistics network. Centralize and standardize waste profiling for the company. Grow and maintain relationship with our key disposal vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
Profiling of waste streams throughout the company, with local Branch supportAnalytical lab results technical supportServe as a central internal point of contact for general information pertaining to key disposal vendors, including waste acceptance criteria and capabilities; profiling requirements; and pricing. Develop corporate strategies related to waste routing and disposal optionsParticipate in the management of the intercompany & vendor profile databaseEducate and train Branch Operations personnel on proper profiling and disposal selection.Profiling and consultative support on all high-haz and difficult to manage waste streams.Confers with the client to obtain accurate and complete information to properly characterize wasteProvides technical guidance related to RCRA (40CFR), DOT (49CFR), Waste characterization and Waste regulation in response to internal needs and client requests.Competencies

Required Education, Experience, and Training
- 10 plus year experience in hazardous materials/waste industry
- Extensive knowledge with RCRA and DOT regulations
- Successfully completed HAZWOPER 40 hour and DOT HM-181 courses (must have copies of certificates)
- Knowledge of safety/compliance regulations in industry
- Knowledge of hazardous materials/waste industry
- Understanding of ACTenviro Core Values (Safety, Family, Professionalism, Customer Commitment, and Forward Thinking)
- Ability to regularly lift more than 50 pounds
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related curriculum

Staff management position. No direct reports.
