We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shaved Ice Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service while creating delicious and refreshing shaved ice treats. You will be responsible for interacting with customers, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every guest. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, efficient service.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using suggestive selling techniques to upsell items and promote specials.
  • Prepare shaved ice treats according to customer preferences, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
  • Operate cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the preparation station, serving area, and surrounding areas.
  • Stock and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and cleaning the store.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of cash register operations.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a proven ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in a customer service or food service role.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly.
  • Passion for shaved ice and a desire to create a positive customer experience.
