Our Accounting Manager
Will oversee daily accounting operations, support month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with GAAP. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of financial reporting and the ability to lead and mentor team members. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and excited to contribute to a fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Manage cash flow and perform daily bank reconciliations
- Lead and execute monthly close processes, including:
- Inventory, prepaid inventory, landed cost, and labor allocations
- Benefit withholdings, FSA liabilities, and accrued expenses
- Sales representative commissions and payroll accruals
- Review staff accountant’s workpapers for accuracy
- Finalize monthly reporting packages
- Assist with month-end payroll accruals
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal company policies
- Prepare and support annual audits, collaborating with external auditors
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Supervise and support assigned accounting staff
- Set performance goals and KPIs; track and assess progress
- Provide regular feedback and participate in performance reviews
- Collaborate with HR on performance and development plans
- Maintain accurate and secure records
- Manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- Strong understanding of GAAP, audits, and internal controls
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Preferred
- Experience with NetSuite Inventory modules
- Background in small to mid-sized growing companies (50–500 employees)
- Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory processes
- Analytical, solution-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Job Title and Compensation:
- The base salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $155,000, based on full-time employment.
- Actual salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
