Your Role:
As a Financial Analyst Intern, you'll work closely with our operations teams, providing critical financial insights and support. Learning from and collaborating directly with the Director of FP&A and play a key role in helping them achieve their financial goals. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a thriving organization.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Develop and maintain financial forecasts, reports, and key operational metrics.
- Business Partnering: Prepare and present financial performance reports for regular business partner reviews.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Complete other duties and tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the finance team.
What We're Looking For:
- Pursuing degree in Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a finance-related role (including internships).
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional communication.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
