Job Objective:
Manages the marketing of all equity oil, gas and products, including market alternative analysis, negotiations of connections, imbalance reconciliation, and all front office processes. Manages the commercial activities and operations of the existing midstream business. Develops and expands the midstream business through additions to existing assets and new acquisitions. Manages the regulatory requirements for approximately 400 miles of oil and gas pipeline.

Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Manages and supervises the marketing department and business development team for the company, to achieve goals within available resources; plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned staff; and reviews progress and directs changes as needed.
  • Manages the marketing of the company’s oil & gas sales.
  • Identifies and obtains the best markets based on price, financial capability, and assurance of flow.
  • Executes all commodity derivatives for the company.
  • Develops and implements long-term business development strategies to increase profits by acquisition in the midstream business for the company.
  • Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:


  • Serves on senior management team to provide input and strategies for company’s overall management and profitability.
  • Provides leadership and direction in the development of short and long range plans; gathers, interprets, and prepares data for studies, reports, and recommendations; coordinates department activities with other departments and work groups as needed.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Ten (10) years minimum oil and gas marketing and management experience with success at increasingly difficult responsibilities.
  • Exceptional ability in developing self-directed teams to meet performance goals.
  • Exceptional ability in developing team momentum, enthusiasm, and pride in company when accomplishing company goals.
  • Ability to anticipate approaching problems and establish strategic plans for future success.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in regulatory compliance management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Outstanding management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in mechanical, civil, or petroleum engineering.
