Position Summary


The Website Administrator leverages experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), website development, and data analysis to ensure that our brand's website is fully optimized for user experience. This role will work closely with various stakeholders from our marketing, retail, lending, and IT teams to develop and maintain website performance, and consistently meet our organization’s monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic initiatives. Combining business acumen and expertise in formulating SEO, Pay Per Click (PPC), and user journey strategies, Website Administrator will build qualified traffic to our website and other digital channels for a superior user experience through an understanding of web design, web personalization, A/B testing, and attribution.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision and measure the effectiveness of the website's organic strategy, user experience, and performance; lead the PPC/SEM strategy.
  • Collaborate with VP of Digital to create funnel mapping for website and landing pages, develop website roadmap and website/landing page release schedules.
  • Own the website(s) and landing pages to ensure they drive qualified leads; support strategic initiatives focused on high-impact growth. Analyze website and landing page performance, provide regular reporting and insights, and find ways to improve conversion rate.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end member experience across multiple channels and member touch points.
  • Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to maintain a seamless UX from public-facing lead generation pages into the product and./or services.
  • Perform keyword research and monitor keyword performance, expansion, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on SEO/organic channel editorial content to incorporate keywords and searcher intent into written content to support marketing initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, and measure A/B and multivariate testing – maintaining a roadmap of A/B test initiatives and personalization campaigns; support the management of A/B testing prioritization and scheduling.
  • Develop a backlink strategy; Identify backlink opportunities and perform necessary outreach.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute content marketing campaigns to drive traffic, backlinks, engagement, sales, and member retention.
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives such as redirect analysis, schema, mobile strategy, and site speed optimization.
  • Manage our brand SEO success metrics, ensuring we meet goals for Search Engines Results Page (SERP) and continuous improvement, with monthly reporting.
  • Evaluate content traffic, SEO metrics, and the effectiveness of campaigns and messaging (through well-defined KPIs) weekly to make recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage necessary approvals for all content and project management against deadlines.
  • Build pages with proper formatting and brand alignment in partnership with Marketing and Communications Teams.
  • Own the QA process for the website and paid ads.
  • Continually review existing pages and develop test strategies to optimize their performance.
  • Measure the effectiveness of strategy (rankings, traffic, conversions) and make decisions based on data.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends and develop positioning of projects.
  • Research, inform, and implement the latest search trends, including AI capabilities, to ensure the public website rankings increase and maintain rank.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)


  • Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions, and general operating policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Knowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Schema App, Ahrefs, Moz, Siteimprove, Optimizely, and HubSpot or similar website tools.
  • Knowledge of Brand Identity and Standards with a focus on design campaigns and experiences.
  • Knowledge of web development, programming, site setup, tagging, and management.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding machines.
  • Skilled in on-page, off-page, local, technical SEO, and associated data analysis.
  • Ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and openly share ideas as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment .
  • Ability to motivate others and to work in a large cross-functional team dynamic.
  • Ability to learn technical platforms that impact processes
  • Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.
  • Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously.

Complexity & Scope of Work


  • The team member will ensure policies, procedures, and programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and are compliant with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • The team member performs a number of routine and generally related tasks without supervisory direction.
  • The team member may make decisions regarding unusual circumstances on occasion.
  • Tasks may occasionally have to be coordinated, integrated, and/or prioritized.
  • Courses of action are determined by established procedures and/or the Vice President of Digital Optimization.
  • The team member’s work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the policies and procedures.
  • The team member uses independent judgment in making decisions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • To perform this job successfully, the team member is frequently required to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.  Daily movements include sitting; standing, reaching, and grasping, operating computers and other office equipment, moving about the office; and attending possible onsite and offsite meetings.  The team member must be able to exchange information, in person, in writing, and via telephone. Some degree of stress results from contact with management, vendors and other team members.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds across the office and load them onto shelves for various needs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work involves the typical risks and discomforts associated with an office environment but is usually in an area that is adequately cooled, heated, lighted, and ventilated.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Website Administrator role. One year of experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • Certified in Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ), SEO/SEM Course (SEMrush SEO Toolkit, HubSpot Content Marketing, Google AdWords) or similar tools.
  • Experience with keyword search tools and current SEO, SEM & PPC tools and strategies, including on-page, off-page, and local SEO.
  • Experience with SEO & SEM implementation for web development, programming, site setup, tagging, and management.
  • Demonstrable SEO copywriting, backlinking skills, and ability to optimize websites for SEO.
  • Experience implementing HTML/CSS preferred.
